[VISIT] The Ministry of Public Security and the Institute for Social Studies in Vietnam

On March 24, 2010, 7 people from the Ministry of Public Security and the Institute for Social Studies in Vietnam visited PSPD. It was a visit to study about the role of Civil Society Organizations(CSO) in policy making in Korea. Taehoo Lee(Deputy Secretary General) introduced the history and the four missions of ‘alternatives, watch, participation, solidarity’ of PSPD. The main activities of PSPD were introduced: campaigns of ‘No Vote for Corrupt Candidates’ and ‘Freedom of Infromation’, participation in the campaign for minority shareholders’ rights, lobbies for ‘Anti-Corruption Law’ and etc.
